Trio DC Comics Super Friends: Green Lantern to the Rescue

These DC Comics Super Friends sets include the Green Lantern, Kilowog, Flash, and Superman. Batman really fits in here too, but he gets his own category because there are so many Batman Trio sets. Also, I could have included Superman in the Batman group because his set is part of a mega Batman set; I didn’t do that because neither Batman nor Robin are in the Superman set.

As of this writing, I only have pictures for 3 of these sets. I’ll provide the components list of the others and add pictures as they become available.

The Trio Superman and Space Sled Set Has Kryptonite

Apparently Superman is transporting the dangerous kryptonite at a safe distance using the claw on his space sled (T4448). You can have him drop the green crystals off on some remote planet so he can get back to saving the human race back on Earth.

You have to really be “up” on your Green Lantern enemies to recognize this Atrocitus Battle Cruiser set (W1991).

Stay Out of the Way When You See the Trio Kilowog Battalion Cannon

The Kilowog is part of Green Lantern’s team. He has a cannon (W1992) that actually shoots a mace-like projectile a fair distance.

Use the Trio Green Lantern Planet Oa Launch Pad to Blast Off

As part of the Planet Oa Launch Pad set (W1993), you get a space vehicle and Green Lantern figure. You also get a cannon similar to the one in the Kilowog set (above).
